Brandy Deckard, O.D., F.A.A.O.
Dr. Deckard is a native of Bedford, IN and she graduated with a Bachelor’s in Chemistry from IUPUI in 2003. She went on to the Indiana University School of Optometry and graduated in 2007 as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. After graduation, Dr. Deckard completed her ocular disease residency at Indiana University under Dr. Vic Malinovsky and her fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry. She joined Dr. Howard & Associates in 2008 and acquired the practice in 2014, at which time she changed the name to Precision Eye Group. In 2019, she purchased Eyeconic Eyecare in Bedford, IN and merged the practice into Precision Eye Group.
Dr. Deckard enjoys seeing her patients year after year and the friendships that are made. You can see Dr. Deckard at our Bloomington office. In her time away from the office, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband Ryan and their son Will – whether it’s running to ball games or hanging out with friends – they always keep her on the go!
Derek Bailey, O.D.
Dr. Derek Bailey was born and raised in Bloomington and attended Bloomington High School South. He continued his education at Wabash College, where he also played basketball and baseball. He then completed his Doctorate of Optometry at Indiana University School of Optometry. He joined Precision Eye Group in 2016. Dr. Bailey and his wife, Erika, have two children, Lola and Korver. He serves on the Board of Directors for Youth for Christ – Southern Hills, and is a Levite at Sherwood Oaks Christian Church. Dr. Bailey looks forward to seeing you at our Bloomington location.
Luke Streich, O.D.
Dr. Streich is a Lawrence County native and a graduate of Mitchell High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Indiana University and a Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry. As an Optometrist, he has a special interest in managing ocular diseases, co-managing refractive and cataract surgeries, and fitting a multitude of contact lenses. Dr. Streich is the father of two children, Jack and Winley. He enjoys spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, running, hiking, swimming, and playing basketball.
Jenna Dale, O.D., F.A.A.O., F.C.O.V.D.
Dr. Jenna Dale grew up in Greenwood, Indiana and graduated with high honors from Indiana University in 2008. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry in 2012 and graduated at the top of her class. She pursued a residency in Pediatrics and Vision Therapy at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Dale earned the distinction of Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO) in 2013 and received her board certification and fellowship in vision therapy by the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (FCOVD) in 2015. She has published several articles in Optometry and Visual Performance, an international, peer-reviewed journal. She is passionate about eye care for children and is an InfantSEE provider, which provides no-cost comprehensive eye examinations to babies 6-12 months old. She is actively involved in the Women’s Auxiliary of the Bloomington Boys and Girls Club and volunteers with the 500 Festival Organization and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. In her free time, Dr. Dale enjoys traveling, cooking, reading and spending time with her husband, Macey, and their daughter, Addison. You can see Dr. Dale at both our Bloomington and Bedford offices.
Kelley Deak, O.D.
Dr. Kelley Deak is a 1998 graduate from the IU School of Optometry. She also graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in 2015 and is a member of the Ocular Wellness and Nutrition Society. This gives her a unique, natural perspective on preventing disease and promoting wellness of the eyes.
She is board certified in managing eye problems such as cataracts, macular degeneration, glaucoma, dry eyes, and diabetic eye disease. She is experienced in solving contact lens-related issues and removal of foreign objects in eyes. She does screening and treating of low macular pigment which is a cause of night vision problems and a risk factor for macular degeneration.
She has done eye care mission work in Guanajuato, Mexico and most recently Malawi, Africa. She is welcoming new patients of any age as well as patients from her previous locations.
